William Berg

William Berg, 78, of Stuttgart passed away Friday, June 13, 2025.

He was born Dec. 29, 1946, in Stuttgart to Louis C. and Veronica Reno Berg. He was a Subiaco Academy graduate and lifelong farmer retiring in 2018. He was Army veteran of the Vietnam war and member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church and Knights of Columbus.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Stacy Nelson.

Survivors are his wife of 55 years, Loretta J. Berg; their son, Justin Berg and wife Sarah of Stuttgart; son-in-law, Ken Nelson of Almyra; brother, Howard Berg of Oak Grove, La.; sisters, Pat Arnold, Cathy Konency and Carolyn Morgan of Stuttgart and Polly Norris of Florida; and six grandchildren he adored, Shelby Gifford, Kaid Nelson, Miranda Nelson, Tyler Berg, Anna Grace Berg and Aubree Berg.

Rosary will be at 5:30 p.m. Monday, June 16, at Turpin Funeral Home followed by visitation until 7 p.m. Funeral Mass, officiated by Father Babu Rao Battula, will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Holy Rosary Cemetery.
