Tyler Dewayne Earls

It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of Tyler DeWayne Earls, 37, of England who tragically lost his life in a car accident on Sunday, July 14, 2024, on Hwy. 165 and Hwy. 343, while on his way to his mother’s home after work.

Tyler worked in several professions over the years, most recently as a forklift operator at Riceland Foods. Known for his strong work ethic, Tyler always gave his all to every task. He graduated from Humphrey High School in 2004, and Humphrey, as well as Stuttgart and the surrounding areas, was where he made his mark and was beloved by the community.

Tyler was deeply cherished and leaves behind many family members who loved him dearly, including his daughter, Halen Earls, and son, Brayden Barnett, as well as granddaughters, Kalahni and Kylie Daniels. He is also survived by his mother, Brenda Daniels; stepfather, Jerry Morris; sisters, Teighlor Chaney and her husband Steven and Tracy Earls Hardy; and Byron Cook who has always been a brother to Tyler.

He was preceded in death by his father, Merle DeWayne Earls; son, Tyler “T.J.” DeWayne Earls Jr.; stepfather, Kirk Daniels; grandparents, Ralph and Lucille Brittain, Wayne and Gerry Daniels and Pearl Bright.

Known for his free spirit, kind heart and sense of humor, Tyler was a loyal and cherished friend to many. He found joy in spending time with friends, often enjoying a cold drink and good music. He loved life’s simple pleasures and embraced all the joys life had to offer during his short time with us.

Tyler DeWayne Earls will be dearly missed by all who knew him, but his legacy will live on through his family, friends and all who were touched by his smile and spirit.

Visitation will be 12-2 p.m. Thursday, July 18, at Turpin Funeral Home with funeral services following at 2 p.m. Burial will be in Lone Tree Cemetery.
