Sarah Margaret Rhodes

Sarah Margaret Rhodes, 73, of Stuttgart, widow of Harold Rhodes Jr. passed away Tuesday, Nov. 19, 2024, at her home.

Mrs. Rhodes was born Dec. 31, 1950, in Montezuma, Tenn., the daughter of Gordon and Agnes Hurst Rowland. She was a custodian at Stuttgart Public Schools before retirement and was a Baptist.

Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Dale Rhodes Sr.; granddaughter, Allyson Rhodes; and two sisters, Louise Herring and Margie Sullivan.

Survivors are two sons, James (Erica) Rhodes of Stuttgart and Michael (Memory) Rhodes of Little Rock; two brothers, Lester (Carolyn) Rowland of Scotland, Ark., and James (Teresa) Rowland of Romance, Ark.; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Funeral services, officiated by Jeremy Rowland, at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 23, at Almyra Methodist Church with burial following in Bonner Cemetery in Tichnor by Turpin Funeral Home of Stuttgart.

Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Friday at Turpin Funeral Home.
