Roland Ralph Endres

Roland Ralph Endes, 93, of Stuttgart passed away Saturday, Sept. 19, 2026, at Crestpark Nursing Home.

Roland was born Nov. 7, 1932, to Fred and Beulah Endres. He was a 1950 graduate of Stuttgart High School and attended the University of Arkansas at Monticello for two years before graduating in 1954 from the University of Fayetteville with a degree in Ag Business.

After college he was drafted into the Army where he served in Hawaii. He then returned home to the family farm where he devoted many years to the agricultural life he loved.

He was a member of Grand Avenue United Methodist Church where he taught Sunday school and faithfully attended until he was unable to do so.

Roland served as constable for McFall Township, president of Stuttgart Chamber of Commerce and a member of the Stuttgart School Board giving his time and leadership to the community he called home.

After retirement you could find him enjoying coffee, gossiping with his buddies or helping Michael driving a combine during harvest.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Sonya Endres; son, Scott Endres; granddaughter, Macy Jines; and sister, Billie Lou Endres Pazdera.

Survivors are his wife of 66 years, Lynette Endres; four grandchildren, Ashley (Jordan) Maier and Hunter Endres of Stuttgart, Marly (Eutah) Russell of Newport and Weston Jines; three great-granddaughters, Scarlett, Hazel and Hattie Maier; a host of nieces and nephews; and a bonus son, Michael Maier who has been there and helped them through it all.

Visitation is 1 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 24, at Grand Avenue United Methodist Church, with funeral services, officiated by Rev. Laura Todd, following at 2 p.m. Burial will be in Lone Tree Cemetery by Turpin Funeral Home.

His family requests memorials be made to Grand Avenue United Methodist Church or Stuttgart High School FFA.
