Robert Quinton Farrester

Robbie Farrester, 54, of Ulm, Arkansas, quietly and peacefully passed into his eternal home on Sunday, August 10, 2025, at the Arkansas Hospice Homecare Comfort Center in Little Rock, Arkansas, following a brave, hard-fought battle with glioblastoma cancer.

Robbie was faithful to his God, his church, and his family. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Almyra where he served on the Security Team. Prior to serving at the Almyra Church, he served the Humphrey Baptist Church in several offices. He was well known for his hard work ethic. For the past 20 years he has worked building his own businesses, Grand Prairie Industrial Service and Southeast Industrial Repair. Prior to that time, he was employed by Riceland Foods and Stuttgart Industrial.

Robbie was also a devoted family man. He leaves behind his wife of 20 years, Christy Elkins Farrester. He also leaves a son, Zach (Samantha) Farrester of Stuttgart; his mother Mary Beth Farrester of Cabot, Arkansas; a sister Monica (Stephen) Cruthis of Hazen, Arkansas. He was a loving grandfather of Connor Quinton and Briggs Taylor Farrester. He is preceded in death by his father, Bob Farrester.

One of Robbie’s passions was rescuing stray dogs. Over the years, he and Christy provided a safe shelter for 8 different dogs. Even today they are parents to Atticus, Sadie, and Remi.

Services will be held for Robbie at Turpin Funeral Home on Wednesday, August 13, at 10:00 a.m. in the chapel with burial at Frazier Cemetery in Alcorn. The family will receive guests on Tuesday, August 12, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.

The family would like to extend their deepest appreciation for the many cards, calls and prayers that have been offered on Robbie’s behalf. They would also like to extend their gratitude to the doctors, nurses and staff at CARTI Cancer Center, as well as Grand Prairie Physical Therapy and Farrell Godwin, Speech Therapist.
