Richard Buck Synco

Buck Synco, 78, of Casscoe, passed away peacefully in his home on Thursday, September 17, 2026. He was born in Stuttgart.

After high school he joined the Air Force from May 7, 1966, until May 9, 1970. After returning home, he started work at the Stuttgart Post Office. He worked at the post office from 1974 until 2003. In all, he worked for 33 years in government services.

Buck enjoyed being on the river, fishing and hunting and had a garden every year.

Buck was preceded in death by his parents, Ellen and H.B. Synco; Three brothers, Ray Synco, Roy Synco and Rex Synco; Four sisters, Margaret Synco, Francis Weischman, Geneva Weatherly, and Lois Hoffman.

He is survived by two daughters, Laura Hickerson (Keith), and Victoria Midkiff; granddaughter, Krystal Fletcher and one grandson, Jessie Hickerson who he enjoyed hunting and fishing with.
