Paul Howard Mitchell

Paul Howard Mitchell, 82, of Stuttgart passed away Thursday, March 13, 2025, at his home.

Mr. Mitchell was born Feb. 9, 1943, in Dumas to Otis and Leona McBride Mitchell. The retired Riceland grain dryer manager was a member of Humnoke Pentecostal Church of God and a 47-year member of Rowell Hunting Club. He loved deer hunting, Nascar and “tinkering”.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Dolly Crouch.

Survivors are his wife of 63 years, Wanda Sue Mitchell; two sons, Marty (Melissa) Mitchell of Searcy and Gregory Mitchell (Melissa) of Roe; sister, Joyce Blount of Garrett Bridge; one granddaughter, Monica (Jesse) Dimitry; and two great-granddaughters, Marcelina Dimitry and Maria Dimitry.

A memorial service, officiated by Pastor Jim Laudell, will be 2 p.m. Saturday, March 15, at Humnoke Pentecostal Church of God.
