Nancy Ann Thomason

Nancy Ann Thomason, 75, of Stuttgart passed away Thursday, July 30, 2026, at her home.

She was born Aug. 31, 1950, in Stuttgart to Joseph and Willma Nell Merten Thomason who preceded her in death. She was a 1968 graduate of Stuttgart High School where she was a proud member of the Ricebird Marching 100 performing as a majorette captain. She received her Bachelor of Science in Education degree in 1972 from the University of Arkansas-Fayetteville. Following her departure from Stuttgart Public Schools after over 20 years of dedicated service, she became administrator of Rose Care Nursing Home until her retirement. She enjoyed many crafts including crosstitch, needlepoint and crochet, but mainly sewing. Her girls and her grandchildren were the light of her life. She was a member of First Christian Church.

Survivors are two daughters, Dr. Jill McCollum Flaxman and husband Jon of Little Rock and their children Alex and Ben, and Ginger McCollum Holladay and husband Phillip of Stuttgart and their children, Daniel, Sophie and Jack.

Her family would like to thank Dr. Noble Daniel, Lloyd Hill, Kathy Sims and Eugonda Scott for their special care given to our mother.

Funeral services will be private.
