Mary Ann Rabeneck

Mary Ann Rabeneck, 94, of Stuttgart, widow of Ralph Rabeneck, passed away Friday, Jan. 24, 2025, at Chambers Nursing Home and Rehab in Carlisle.

Mrs. Rabeneck was born Dec. 29, 1930, in DeWitt to Sam and Syble West Coit. She was a homemaker and member of Hunter’s Chapel Methodist Church.

Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Ronny Rabeneck; brothers, Sam Bryant Coit, Richard Coit, Ray Ideker and Tommy Ideker; and sisters, Sadie Thomas, Betty Jo Gardner, Sue Watkins and Margaret Ann Coit.

Survivors include son Sam Rabeneck (George) of Greers Ferry, Ark.; daughter, Dyan Shelton (Keith) of Stuttgart; brother, Billy Coit (Faylene) of Ethel; sister, Kay Weddle of Stuttgart; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Funeral services, officiated by Bro. Ted Edmondson, are 2 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 26, at Hunter’s Chapel Methodist Church with visitation one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Hunter’s Chapel Cemetery by Turpin Funeral Home of Stuttgart.

Her family requests memorials be made to Hunter’s Chapel Methodist Church, P.O. Box 583, Casscoe, Ark. 72026.
