Martina “Tina” Moorhead Bull, 75, of Gillett, Arkansas, passed away peacefully at home on June 16, 2026, surrounded by her loved ones after a battle with dementia. Having faithfully walked through life, she was called home to be with her Lord and Savior.
Tina was born on August 5, 1950, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, to Elwood Sterling “Ed” Moorhead III and Melba Lorraine Peterson Moorhead. She moved frequently throughout her childhood before her family eventually settled in Arkansas. She graduated from Forrest City High School in 1968 and later attended Arkansas State University.
During her first semester at Arkansas State University, Tina met the love of her life, Larry Bull. The two were married on May 30, 1970, and shared 56 years of devoted marriage filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories.
Larry dedicated the last seven years to taking care of his wife in the comfort of her own home, that itself shows the unconditional love they shared. Tina was baptized and confirmed in the Presbyterian faith. After marrying Larry and returning to Stuttgart, she became a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church, where she faithfully served in the choir and handbell choir along with being part of the altar guild. She helped deliver Sunday meals for many years. She believed deeply in the power of prayer and loved her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Tina dedicated many years of service to Wilkerson Jewelers, where she worked until her retirement. She was known for her warm smile, kind spirit, and genuine care for others.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Elwood Sterling “Ed” Moorhead III and Melba Lorraine Peterson Moorhead; her mother-in-law, Loretta Bull; her father-in-law, Kenneth H. Bull; her brother-in-law, John St. Clair; and her niece, Vicki Jones Pickett.
She is survived by husband, Larry D. Bull of Stuttgart; her sisters, Kathy St. Clair of Marblehead, Massachusetts, and Chrissy Jones (Larry) of Monument, Colorado; two children, her daughter, Lisa Cox (Jeremy) of Stuttgart; four grandchildren, Chloe McDaniel (Dylan) of Bryant and Piper Banks (Jake) of Stuttgart; as well as two nieces and two nephews.
The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to Tina’s devoted caregivers, Kim Ward and Linda Cupples, whose compassion, dedication, and loving care brought comfort and support during her final years.
Tina found joy in life’s simple pleasures—fishing trips, camping adventures, a good romance novel, and Friday night drives down country backroads. She loved to travel and fulfilled her goal of visiting all 50 states, along with many destinations abroad. In her later years, she spent treasured time at her favorite place on the river, often sitting in the sunroom, watching the sunset paint the sky each evening.
Tina never met a stranger. She was kind, festive, funny, and generous beyond measure. Her welcoming spirit, infectious smile, and loving heart touched everyone she met. Throughout her life, she proudly carried many titles—daughter, sister, wife, mother, Nana, and friend—but her greatest legacy was the love she shared with those around her.
A memorial service celebrating Tina’s life will be held at St. Paul Lutheran Church on Saturday, June 20, 2026, at 10:00 a.m.
“Well done, good and faithful servant.” — Matthew 25:23.
She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her.
