Larry Don Fortune

Larry Don Fortune, 77, of Casscoe passed away Thursday, Feb. 9, 2023.

Larry was born Nov. 30, 1945, in Stuttgart to Woodrow and Mildred “Babe” Fortune. He was a Stuttgart High School graduate, a cattle farmer and member of Hunter’s Chapel United Methodist Church.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Jeanie Fortune; and a son, Allen Fortune.

Survivors are two sons, Stoney Fortune and wife Christy of Stuttgart and Todd Fortune of Humphrey; a daughter, Angela Fortune of Chicago, Ill.; brother, Dennis Fortune and wife Becky of Stuttgart; sister, Barbara Fortune Sykes of Benton; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Funeral services, officiated by Jim Branson and Ted Edmondson, are 2 p.m. Monday at Hunter’s Chapel United Methodist Church with burial following in Hunter’s Chapel Cemetery.

Visitation is 4-6 p.m. Sunday at Turpin Funeral Home.
