Johnny W. “Big John” Neyland, 59, of Lonoke, passed away Sunday, July 5, 2026, at Baptist Health Medical Center – Springhill, in North Little Rock.
Johnny was born October 9, 1966, in Dallas to John and Mary Winegrove Neyland. He coached baseball in the Lonoke area and boxing in Rose City for many years. He worked in the tile and construction until his death.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Michelle Wheat.
Survivors are his wife, Cindy Neyland of Lonoke; mother Mary Neyland; four sons, Keith (Sunny) Neyland of Hensley, Justin (Rachel) Neyland of Lonoke, Eric Neyland of Lonoke and Anthony Neyland of Ft. Worth, Texas; three daughters, Nikki (DeWayne) Emanuel of Ft. Worth, Texas, Elizabeth (Heath) Stout of Salem, Massachusetts, and Seanna (Nelson) Villatoro of Missouri; four brothers, Len Neyland of Ft. Worth, Texas, Logan (Marie) Sanders of Frisco, Texas, Robby (Lisa) Neyland of Grand Prairie, Texas and Gregory Neyland of Frisco, Texas; one sister, Leah Beth Kent of Galveston, Texas; 15 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
Funeral services are at 11 a.m. Thursday, July 9, 2026, at Turpin Funeral Home Chapel with visitation one hour before. Burial will be in Emanuel Lutheran Cemetery by Turpin Funeral Home of Stuttgart.
