John Raymond Stewart

John Raymond Stewart, 70, of Stuttgart passed away Monday, April 13, 2026, at Crestpark of Stuttgart.

John was born May 18, 1955, in Stuttgart to Ray and Lucy McCarty Stewart. He was a graduate of Stuttgart High School and following his retirement from the Stuttgart Fire Department, he was a truck driver. He was known as Johnny to his family and Bubba to his friends and he never met a stranger.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Patty Stewart.

Survivors are his wife of 50 years, Jan Stewart; son, Jason Stewart of Little Rock; daughter, Amanda (Jamison) Emfinger of Ward, Ark.; brother, Tommy (Eleanor) Stewart of Humphrey; grandchildren, Jackson, Greyson, Stella and Vincent; and nephews, Tommy (Sara) Stewart Jr. and Troy Burlison, all of Humphrey.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
