John Chester "Jack" Nobles

John Chester “Jack” Nobles, 85, of Humphrey passed away Sunday March 29, 2026, at Crestpark of Stuttgart.

Mr. Nobles was born March 30, 1940, in Humnoke to Doyle Bascum and Rachel Pamela Smith Nobles. He was a member of Antioch Missionary Baptist Church and was retired from Riceland Foods as a soybean meal plant manager.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Gene Nobles; and two sisters, Doylene McKinney and Linda Baty.

Survivors are his wife of 66 years, Patricia Mae Nobles; sons, Jackie Nobles (Debbie) of Stuttgart and Craig Nobles of Salt Rock, West Virginia .; daughter, Deborah Morgan (Bruce) of Humphrey; brother, Don Nobles (Bobbie) of White Hall; sisters, Charlene Moody of Pine Bluff and Nellie McBee of Humphrey; 4 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Visitation is 1 p.m. Wednesday, April 1, at Turpin Funeral Home until funeral services, officiated by Bro. Larry Forte, at 2 p.m. Burial will be in Flynn Cemetery.

The family requests memorials be made to Antioch Missionary Baptist Church or the Alzheimer’s Association.
