John Edward "Eddie" (Snookie) House

John Edward “Eddie” (Snookie) House, 68, of Stuttgart passed away Monday, Feb. 27, 2023, at Crestpark-DeWitt.

Snookie was born Sept. 15, 1954, in Stuttgart to Marion A. and Virginia House. He was a graduate of Stuttgart High School and a life-long painting contractor in Stuttgart. In his early years, he was an avid hunter and fisherman and he loved to sing and write music. He was a member of Southside Baptist Church.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by siblings, Marilyn Cantrell, Kelsey House and Wayne House.

Survivors are his daughter, Alissa House (Rigo Hernandez) of Stuttgart; son, Jacob House (Amber) of Stuttgart; brothers, Bobby House of Little Rock, Troy House (Sharon) of Stuttgart and Keven House (Tammy) of Thayer, Mo.; sisters, Nancy Turner of Stuttgart and Debbie Swan (Gary) of Roe; special friend, Barbara Cook of Stuttgart; five grandchildren, Abbie Castillo, Aubrey Castillo, Adelina Castillo, Arturo Castillo and Matthew House; and 19 nieces and nephews.

Funeral services, officiating by Bro. Gregg Greenway, are 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Southside Baptist Church with burial following in Lone Tree Cemetery.

Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Friday at Turpin Funeral Home.
