Jo Ann Henderson

Jo Ann Henderson, 75, of Stuttgart passed away Tuesday, March 31, 2026, at Crestpark Retirement Inn in Stuttgart after her courageous battle with cancer.

Ms. Henderson was born Nov. 26, 1950, in Stuttgart to A.J. and Betty Henderson who preceded her in death. She was a graduate of Stuttgart High School and received her LPN degree from Rice-Belt Vocational School in DeWitt where she graduated with honors. She began employment with Crestpark in 1974 in the laundry department and upon receiving her nursing degree she began full-time employment as a night nurse for many years. She became MDS coordinator and assistant director of nursing. At one time she was interim administrator. She also was a physical therapist as well as nail care. She held almost every position there except cook, which she never did anywhere at any time. Jo Ann dedicated her whole life to Crestpark Retirement Inn and the care of the elderly, as did her mother.

She was also an avid gardener and was very proud of the fact that she was selected as Yard of the Month twice over the years by the Stuttgart Chamber of Commerce.

Survivors include her sisters, Claudia Henderson Goacher of Durham, N.C., Lonna Henderson Rhodes of DeValls Bluff and Betty Henderson Graham of Little Rock, as well as several nieces and nephews.

She will be greatly missed.
