Jewel E. Shores

Jewel E. Shores, 92, of Stuttgart passed away Monday, June 10, 2024, at Baptist Health-Little Rock.

Mrs. Shores was born Feb. 13, 1932, in to Coy and Getrude Floyd. She was a beautician and homemaker and member of Southside Baptist Church.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death husbands, Charles Hodges and William Shores; daughter, Vicki Fortner; granddaughter, Leslie Moore; and grandson, William Jr.

Survivors are two sons, David Hodges (Scheryll) of Lonoke and Randy Hodges (Mary) of Stuttgart; daughter, Lorene Hodges of Wilmar; brother, Lonnie Floyd (Barbara) of Forrest City; sister, June Ruffin of Mountain Home; seven grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; and one great-great-great-grandson.

Funeral services, officiated by Bro. Gregg Greenway, are 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Turpin Funeral Home with visitation one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Lone Tree Cemetery.
