Jerry James Cotton, 50, of Stuttgart passed away Sunday, Dec.1, 2024, at Baptist Health-Stuttgart.
Jerry was born Dec. 19, 1973, in Wynne to Harold James Cotton and Shirley Ruth Williams Cotton. He was a graduate of DeValls Bluff High School and attended Foothills Technical Institute in Searcy. He was owner/operator of Grand Prairie Overhead Doors and was also employed at Delta Plastics. He was a member of First Methodist Church in Stuttgart.
Jerry liked muscle cars, motorcycles, deer hunting, playing dominoes with friends and shopping at flea markets with his kids, but his favorite thing was going on cruises.
Besides his mother, he was preceded in death by a brother, Joseph Lee Cotton.
Survivors are his wife of 23 years, Sarah Wilson-Cotton; son, Joseph Isaac Cotton of Stuttgart; daughter, Lillian Margaret Cotton of Stuttgart; father, Harold James Cotton of DeWitt; brother, Billy Joe Cotton of DeWitt; and sisters, Tonya Patton of Humphrey and Shelbi Renee Cotton of DeWitt.
A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 7, at First Methodist Church in Stuttgart.
