James Harold Hall

James Harold Hall, 81, of Stuttgart, Arkansas, passed away peacefully at his home on June 21, 2025. Born in Des Arc, Arkansas, on January 13, 1944, Harold moved to Stuttgart with his family at the age of four and spent the rest of his life in the community he loved. He was the proud owner of Harold Hall Roofing, Inc., a business he built and led with dedication, integrity, and a strong sense of responsibility.

Harold loved God and his family more than anything. A faithful member of Jesus Name Church of Christ for over 64 years, he served as the church treasurer and was a beloved Sunday school teacher for many years. His faith was the foundation of his life, guiding him to live with compassion, humility, and purpose. He was known for his generosity - always willing to lend a helping hand or quietly support others through both his time and finances. His impact reached far beyond his family and business, touching countless lives over the years.

Harold had a deep love for missions, and he devoted much of his life to supporting the mission field and orphanages in Haiti and around the world. His heart for helping children and families in need extended far beyond his local community, and his contributions made a lasting difference to many.

A licensed pilot for over 40 years, Harold had a lifelong passion for flying and loved to travel. Whether soaring through the skies or exploring new places, he found great joy in the freedom of adventure.

Harold is survived by his devoted wife of 60 years, Lillian Elois Hall; his son, James Harold Hall Jr. (Jennifer Hall); and his daughters, Lesa Ann Looper (Rev. Guy Looper) and Lillian Irene Smith (Michael Smith). He was the proud grandfather of ten grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother, Bob Hall.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Eunice and Elijah Hall; his brother, Parker Hall; his sisters, Marcy McDaniel, Betty Clark, Irma Hall, Annabelle Peeler, and Mary Johnson; and his beloved granddaughter, Sarah Grace Hall.

Harold was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend. His legacy of faith, love, and service will continue to live on through the many lives he touched.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 25, 2025, at Jesus Name Church of Christ in Stuttgart. Visitation (wake) will begin at 10 a.m., followed by the funeral service at 1 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Jesus Name Church of Christ.

He will be deeply missed but forever remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
