Ina Muzette Inman

Ina Muzette Inman, born Feb. 12, 1937, passed away peacefully on Sept. 19, 2026, at Baptist Health-Stuttgart. She was born to Richard and Edna Earl Martin in Whitney, Texas.

Muzette had a wonderfully curious mind and could always be found working a crossword puzzle. She loved the challenge, the words and that little feeling of satisfaction when everything finally came together. The love of puzzling was just one of the many things that made her so special.

Muzette will be remembered and cherished by all who knew and loved her. Her life touched many people, and her memory will continue to live on in the hearts of her family and friends. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.

She was a member of Lighthouse Church in Stuttgart.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Claudette Lewis; two daughters, Jackie Ward and Mickey Hankins; stepson, Kerry Inman; and grandson, Slayd Ponder.

Survivors are her husband of 39 years, Doyle Inman; son, Michael Walls (Linda) of Glenrose, Texas; two brothers, Richard “Bugger” Martin (Sherry) of Whitney, Texas, and David Martin (Beth) of Hillsboro, Texas; stepdaughter, Cindy Ponder (Raymond) of Van Buren; two stepsons, Stephen Inman-Crawley (Eddie) of Hot Springs and Tobie Inman (Brittany) of Woodville, Texas; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Visitation is 1 p.m. Friday, Sept. 25, at Turpin Funeral Home followed by a 2 p.m. funeral service, officiated by Donny White and Bro. Steve Bushey. Burial will be in Bayou Meto Cemetery.
