Franklin Albert Dobrovich, 81, of Stuttgart lost his six-year battle with cancer on Sept. 2, 2025, at Hospice Home Care in Little Rock.
Frank was born Oct. 11, 1943, in Stuttgart to Stephen Frank and Marie Leona Dierks Dobrovich. He attended Catholic High School in Little Rock his freshman year and then graduated from Stuttgart High School in 1961. After high school, he served in the Arkansas National Guard.
He was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church. He loved drag racing, duck and deer hunting with his grandsons and Razorback sports. He did telephone work for 43 years and worked on his family farm throughout his life. He was proud of his Slovak heritage and spent many hours the last few years researching his Slovak family roots. He was a big participant in the annual Slovak Heritage Days.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Rose Marie Lipe and Martha Jean Teppen; and one brother, George William Dobrovich.
Loving survivors are his wife of 60 years, Linda Webb Dobrovich; son, Michael Allen (Peyton) Dobrovich of Little Rock; two grandsons, Christian Kale Dobrovich and Beau Charles Dobrovich of Little Rock; and several special nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be 5-6:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 4, at Turpin Funeral Home with rosary following at 6:30 p.m.
Funeral Mass will be 10 a.m. Friday at Holy Rosary Catholic Church with burial following in Sts. Cyril and Methodius Cemetery in Slovak.
