Elizabeth Ann Faver, 83, of Hot Springs, passed away Friday, Nov. 22, 2024, at CHI St. Vincent in Hot Springs.
She was born April 30, 1941, to David Wilburn and Lavern Woodard Krisell. She was former owner/operator of IGA grocery in Altheimer for several years and was a member of Humphrey Baptist Church. She was an amazing cook, enjoyed gardening and making jewelry for herself and the residents of West Shores. But her favorite thing to do was 1,000-piece puzzles which she then glued and framed and are hanging on the walls of West Shores.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, James Pierce; her second husband, Dee Faver; daughter, Mary Christine Newkirk; sister, Baby Jo Childers; and brothers-in-law, James Gibbs and Ken Chandler.
Survivors are two sisters, Agnes Gibbs of Hot Springs and Ruth Chandler of Cabot; brother, Eddie Krisell (Cathy) of Stuttgart; brother-in-law, Frank Childres; one grandson, James Newkirk; and one great-granddaughter, Olivia Newkirk.
Visitation is 1 p.m. Tuesday, Nov 26, at Humphrey Baptist Church, 402 N. Division St., with services, officiated by Bro. Robbie Jackson, following at 2 p.m. Burial will be in Flat Bayou Cemetery in Altheimer by Turpin Funeral Home of Stuttgart.
A memorial service is planned for December at West Shores Assisted Living in Hot Springs.
