David Pay

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of David Lee Pay, a devoted husband, caring father, beloved brother, and treasured friend, who left us on September 24, 2024. He was 58 years old.

Born on December 19, 1965, David dedicated his life to those he loved and left a lasting impression on those he met. For 29 years, he was a loyal employee at Lennox Industries, where his strong work ethic, reliability, and commitment to excellence earned him the respect of his colleagues and supervisors alike. His passion for his job was evident in everything he did, and he took pride in contributing to a team.

A true family man, David cherished every moment spent with his wife, Kathy, and their children, Jeremy, Jayson, Shanda, and Joshua. He worked hard to provide for his family and his unwavering support shaped their lives in countless ways.

A passionate Razorback fan, David never missed watching or listening to a game. His enthusiasm extended to his cherished pastime of mowing the yard, where he found joy in tidying up the place for the grandchildren to roam and play.

David leaves behind a legacy of love, dedication, and warmth that will forever resonate in the hearts of those who knew him. He is survived by his loving wife, Kathy (Richardson) Pay; his children, Jeremy Winkowski; Jayson Winkowski and wife Hope; Shanda Daniel and husband Casey; Joshua Pay and his wife Brianna; his brother, Grover (Brenda); and 7 grandchildren, Hayley, Embry, Jonah, Evan, Cylas, Luke, and Winnifred; one great-grandson, Henry; and several nieces and nephews.

A celebration of David’s life will be held Saturday, September 28, 2024 at Turpin Funeral Home, visitation for close family at 2 p.m. with a service with family and friends starting at 3 p.m.

Though he may be gone from our sight, David will remain forever in our hearts.
