Betty Jo Terrell Merchant

Betty Jo Terrell Merchant, 82, of Humphrey passed away Monday, Jan. 16, 2023, at her home.

Ms. Merchant was born May 30, 1940, in Coy to Homer L. Sr. and Willie Mae Harris McGhee. She was a punch press operator for AT&T and member of First Missionary Baptist Church.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Roger A. Terrell; two brothers, Jimmy McGhee and Terry McGhee; and two sisters, Kathryn Sherman and Bonnie McGhee.

Survivors are her son, Richard A. Terrell (Connie West) of Humphrey; one brother, Homer L. McGhee Jr. of North Little Rock; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

A memorial service is planned for a later date.
