Anita Lisa Northcutt

On February 9, 2024, an Angel went home to God. Anita Lisa Northcutt of Stuttgart was a caring and selfless woman that cared for all she met. She served as a Sheriff Service Specialist for 17 years with the San Bernadino County Sheriff Department. She was a devoted wife and mother. She enjoyed traveling and helping people even if she didn’t know them. She kept a special place in her heart for children and spent time with young people throughout her life by mentoring and teaching them how to be kind. She was family oriented and loved to be involved with all her family when she could. She had a witty sense of humor that brightened up any room she entered. She will be missed by many. The world lost an angel when she went to God.

She was preceded in death by her parents Henry and Mavis Mendoza, her sister Patty Gomez and brother Danny Mendoza.

Anita is survived by her husband Carl Hunter Northcutt, son Jacob Henry Francis Baker, stepdaughter Sydney Shepard and grandchild Avonley Aroura Shepard, brothers Bob Mendoza, Richard Mendoza and Michael Mendoza, sisters Judy Gonzalas, Teri Larimer, Linda Mendoza, Cindy Bravo and Lori Qualls, and a vast number of nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers a donation can be made to Wounded Warrior Project, a cause in which she was dearly involved.
