Floyd was born April 2, 1933, in Almyra to Fred C. and Fannie Voss Hansen. He was a master electrician who loved woodwork and hunting and fishing.

   Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant son, James Fredrick Hansen; two brothers, Ford Hansen and Don Hansen; and a sister, Hazel Jo Hansen.

   Survivors are his son, Floyd Ray “Hootie” Hansen Jr. of Stuttgart; two daughters, Brenda Smith of Alread and Terrie Kirkman of Snake Island; one brother, Harold Lee Hansen of Lexington, Kentucky; one sister, Faye Householder of Stuttgart; five grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

   Funeral services are 10 a.m. Saturday at Turpin Funeral Home chapel with burial in Lone Tree Cemetery.

   Visitation is 5-7 p.m. Friday at Turpin Funeral Home.
